Bambu Lab, a company that makes 3D printers has some of their code licensed under the GPL, meaning that anyone is free to use and distribute and modify it, but when someone made a slicer called OrcaSlicer, Bambu Lab legally threatened the developer, even though the developer was legally allowed to edit the code and post it to their Github.
